Ukrainian Film IndustryThe Ukraine – Luxembourg Business Club was pleased to organise the event on the Ukrainian Film Industry which took place on 7 December 2017 at 7 pm at lounge of Le Châtelet, 2 Boulevard de La Petrusse, 2320 Luxembourg.

The roundtable brought together public and private sector experts, cinema field businesses, film producers, actors and media to explore the best practices and concrete solutions to better export, and for this purpose, better promote and distribute Ukrainian films in Europe. They discussed the film investments and the layout of the film industry to promote exchanges and cooperation. In particular, the discussions focused on: the presence and visibility of Ukrainian works, the addressing the challenges and actions needed to increase export of Ukrainian films in Europe, the advantages of investment into Ukrainian film industry, why do the emerging cinema and cultural projects are a great investment target, what changes are expected in this sphere in 2018 and how EU programs and private investment funds could contribute to this objective.
